Mana Short (7ED-86) is a rare Instant from Seventh Edition. When it resolves, it taps every land a chosen player controls and empties that player's unspent mana pool. Because it resolves after responses, it cannot stop spells that have already had their mana paid and is most effective when cast early in a turn, such as during upkeep.
