Umezawa's Jitte (SLD-1865) is a legendary Artifact — Equipment reprinted in the Secret Lair Drop set. Whenever the equipped creature deals combat damage, you put two charge counters on the Jitte and can remove counters to give the equipped creature +2/+2, give target creature -1/-1, or gain 2 life. Its role in decks is as a powerful interactive equipment that rewards combat damage and provides tempo, removal-like effects, or lifegain depending on how counters are spent.
