Trickbind (SLD-1774) is a rare blue Instant from the Secret Lair Drop set that has split second. It counters a target activated or triggered ability and also prevents that permanent’s activated abilities from being activated for the rest of the turn if an activated ability was countered. Its split second clause prevents players from responding with spells or non-mana abilities while it’s on the stack, making it a strong one-shot answer to combo pieces or dangerous triggers.
