It can tap for blue mana, accumulate hour counters via an activated ability and at each upkeep, and when it reaches twelve counters it shuffles your hand and graveyard into your library, draws seven cards, and is exiled. Its abilities let it function as both a mana source and a long-term card selection/recursion engine for control or late-game decks.
