Gandalf, Friend of the Shire (SLD-1294) is a Legendary Creature — Avatar Wizard from the Secret Lair Drop set. It has Flash and grants the ability to cast sorcery spells as though they had flash, letting you interact on opponents' turns. A separate triggered ability can draw you a card whenever the Ring tempts you if you chose a different creature as your Ring‑bearer than Gandalf.
