Ephemerate (SLD-1990) is a white instant reprint from the Secret Lair Drop set that exiles a creature you control and then returns it to the battlefield. It grants Rebound, so if cast from your hand it is exiled as it resolves and may be cast again at the beginning of your next upkeep without paying its mana cost. The exile-return interaction can be used to flicker creatures for enter-the-battlefield effects, protect creatures from removal, or reset counters and attachments per rulings.
