Metamorphose (SCG-40) is an uncommon blue instant from the Scourge expansion. It puts a target opponent's permanent on top of its owner's library and lets that opponent optionally cheat an artifact, creature, enchantment, or land from their hand onto the battlefield. The card functions as a tempo-disruption tool that can also enable opponent-specific interaction or combo plays by replacing their permanent with a hand card.
