Mastermind's Acquisition (collector number 77, foil promo) is a black sorcery printed as a Rivals of Ixalan promotional release. When you cast it you choose one: either search your library for a card and put it into your hand, or put a card you own from outside the game into your hand. In sanctioned tournaments the ‘outside the game’ option is limited to cards from your sideboard, which you may look at at any time.
