It gives a target creature +2/+0 and deathtouch until end of turn and has Rebound, allowing you to cast it again at the beginning of your next upkeep if cast from hand. Its low cost and deathtouch bonus make it useful as both a removal enabler and a combat trick in aggressive or tempo-oriented black decks.
