Thing in the Ice // Awoken Horror (PR23-3) is a two-faced rare creature that enters as a 0/4 with defender and four ice counters from the Regional Championship Qualifiers 2023 promo set. Its front face removes an ice counter whenever you cast an instant or sorcery and transforms into a 7/8 Awoken Horror when the last counter is removed. When it transforms into Awoken Horror, its triggered ability returns all non-Horror creatures to their owners' hands, providing a dramatic board-reset effect.
