Harsh Justice (POR 18) is a white instant from Portal that punishes attackers during combat. It can only be cast in the declare attackers step if you were attacked that step and causes any attacking creature that deals combat damage to you to deal that much damage to its controller. As a reactive removal/retaliation effect, it serves a defensive role by turning successful attacks into direct damage back to opposing players.
