Rushing River (PLS 30) is a blue instant from the Planeshift set that has Kicker — Sacrifice a land. Its main effect returns a target nonland permanent to its owner's hand, and if you paid the kicker you may return a second target nonland permanent. It functions as removal/tempo by bouncing threats while offering an optional additional bounce at the cost of sacrificing a land, which can enable tempo swings or interaction with land-synergy cards.
