It lets you force an opponent to reveal their hand and may put a creature card from it onto the battlefield under your control with haste, then requires you to sacrifice that creature at the beginning of the next end step. The card can provide immediate tempo or surprise removal avoidance by temporarily stealing threats and interacting with end-step timing.
