Deflection (OLEP-30) is an oversized instant from the Oversized League Prizes set that redirects a single-target spell to a new target. It changes the target of a spell with one target upon resolution, allowing that spell to target another spell or permanent as long as a legal new target exists. The rulings clarify timing and targeting restrictions, including that it cannot target spells with multiple targets and the new target is chosen when Deflection resolves.
