Deflection (OLEP-29) is a blue Instant from the Oversized League Prizes series that changes the target of a target spell that has a single target. When it resolves you choose a new legal target for that spell, which can include other spells on the stack but not the spell itself, and this can trigger effects that care about being targeted. Its role is disruption and interaction, letting you redirect opponents' removal or spells toward different valid targets or other spells on the stack.
