Mind Bend (9ED-87) is a blue instant from Ninth Edition that replaces one color word or basic land type in a target permanent’s text with another. On resolution you choose a single printed word to replace everywhere on that permanent, and the change to the printed text lasts indefinitely. This can alter creature qualifiers, landwalks, or a land’s basic type, enabling disruptive or utility plays in decks that leverage text changes.
