Each of X target creatures you control connives, and you may then phase out any number of those creatures, with discarded nonland cards granting +1/+1 counters when they connive. The spell doubles as card-advantage and a protection/reset tool, enabling connive triggers and phase-out synergies in multiplayer-focused decks.
