Throat Wolf (CMB2-65) is a red creature with the Summon/Wolf typeline from the Mystery Booster Playtest Cards 2021 set. It can be cast during an opponent’s combat phase, has an unusual “firstest strike” timing that creates an extra early combat damage step, and creates an additional combat phase after each opponent’s first combat phase. The extra combat phase is restricted so that only Throat Wolf can attack during that phase, producing unique timing and attack opportunities.
