Underdark Beholder (CMB1-49) is a Rare creature Beholder from the Mystery Booster Playtest Cards 2019 set. It enters with ten eyestalk counters and replaces damage by removing that many counters instead, forcing sacrifice if you can’t; it also reveals and may cast an instant, sorcery, or enchantment with converted mana cost less than its current eyestalk counters when it attacks. Its role is as a recurring threat and card-advantage engine that becomes more fragile as it takes damage and can enable big free spells on offense.
