Throat Wolf (CMB1-65) is a red creature from a Mystery Booster playtest sheet printed as a Rare. It has an unusual timing permission allowing you to cast it during an opponent’s combat phase and a “firstest strike” effect that creates an additional very-early combat damage step. The card’s triggered effect also creates an extra combat phase after each opponent’s first combat phase on each turn during which only Throat Wolf may attack, producing odd interactions with turn order and multiple copies.
