Animate Spell (CMB1-16) is a rare Enchantment — Aura from a 2019 Mystery Booster playtest set that can enchant instant or sorcery spells on the stack. It has Flash and, when it becomes attached to a spell, puts that spell onto the battlefield as a creature with power and toughness equal to its mana value. If Animate Spell leaves the battlefield the enchanted card’s owner must sacrifice it unless they cast it, and special rules govern resolving the return and casting process.
