Cryptex (MKM-422) is a Rare artifact from Murders at Karlov Manor. It can repeatedly produce one mana of any color by tapping and exiling cards from your graveyard whose total mana value is at least three and gains unlock counters each time, and once it has five or more unlock counters you can sacrifice it to surveil 3 and draw three cards. Its first ability is a mana ability that doesn't use the stack, letting it add mana immediately, and the exile requirement means opponents generally can't stop the activation once you've started casting a spell.
