Its primary activated ability lets you tap and collect evidence 3 by exiling cards from your graveyard to add one mana of any color and place an unlock counter on it. Once it has five or more unlock counters, you can sacrifice it to surveil 3 and then draw three cards, providing late-game card selection and refill.
