Its static ability reduces the generic portion of activated abilities you activate by {2}, and it also has an activated tap ability that prevents a target creature from blocking this turn. As a companion it can be revealed from outside the game if your starting deck meets its permanent-activated-ability requirement, or you can pay {3} once per game to put it into your hand from outside the game.
