It has Devoid and a kicker of {C}, and when you cast it you choose one of two modes — returning a creature to its owner's hand or making a player draw two then discard one — or both if it was kicked. As a versatile tempo and card-advantage tool it can serve both tempo disruption by bouncing threats and card filtering or graveyard setup via the draw/discard mode.
