Chthonian Nightmare (MH3-330) is a black enchantment from Modern Horizons 3. It gives you three energy when it enters and can be paid into an activated ability that, with sacrificing a creature and spending X energy, returns a creature card with mana value X from your graveyard to the battlefield as a sorcery. The enchantment can be bounced back to your hand by that activation, letting you reuse its enter-the-battlefield energy gain in recurring graveyard-resurrection strategies.
