Description

Grist, the Hunger Tide (MH2-306) is a legendary planeswalker that is also a 1/1 Insect creature card while not on the battlefield. Its +1 creates a 1/1 black and green Insect token and mills a card, repeating and gaining loyalty if an Insect card is milled, its −2 lets you sacrifice a creature to destroy a creature or planeswalker, and its −5 drains opponents based on creature cards in your graveyard. The card interacts with graveyard and token strategies and can be used as a commander because its off-battlefield creature status applies during deck construction.
