Soul Foundry (MRD 246) is a rare artifact from the Mirrodin set that uses the Imprint mechanic. When it enters the battlefield you may exile a creature card from your hand, then you can pay X and tap it to create a token copy of the exiled card where X is that card's mana value. The card functions as a toolbox for producing token copies of creatures you hold in hand, enabling combo or value plays depending on the imprinted creature.
