March of the Machines (MRD‑42) is a rare enchantment from Mirrodin that turns each noncreature artifact into an artifact creature with power and toughness equal to its mana value. The effect applies continuously to all noncreature artifacts on the battlefield and can create 0/0 creatures for artifact lands or low mana-value artifacts that will be put into the graveyard as a state-based action. This card changes how equipment and other artifact permanents interact by preventing equipped items that become creatures from equipping creatures and by interacting predictably with other effects that set power/toughness.
