Hum of the Radix (MRD 122) is a rare green enchantment from the Mirrodin expansion. It increases the cost of each artifact spell by {1} for each artifact its controller already controls, creating a tax on artifact-heavy decks. Players can use it as a tax engine to slow opponents who rely on multiple artifacts or to shape board state by making additional artifacts progressively more expensive.
