Ward of Lights (MIR-47) is an enchantment — Aura from the Mirage expansion that enchants a creature. You may cast it as though it had flash but if you used its own ability to cast it at sorcery-unsafe times the enchanted permanent is sacrificed at the next cleanup step, and as it enters you choose a color. Enchanted creature has protection from the chosen color and the Aura remains attached even if that protection would normally have removed it.
