Sand Golem (MIR-318) is an Artifact Creature — Golem from the Mirage expansion. When an opponent's spell or ability causes you to discard it, it returns from your graveyard to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step with a +1/+1 counter. That recursion makes it a natural fit for discard-themed strategies where it can recur as an increasingly larger threat.
