Mindbender Spores (MIR 229) is a green Creature — Fungus Wall from the Mirage expansion. It has Defender and Flying and when it blocks it puts four fungus counters on the blocked creature, which then gains two triggered effects that lock its untap step while counters remain and remove one counter each upkeep. As a one-toughness blocker that can incapacitate attacking creatures over time, it functions primarily as a control-oriented blocker rather than an attacker.
