Illicit Auction (MIR-183) is a rare red sorcery from the Mirage expansion. Each player may bid life in turn to gain control of a target creature, with the high bidder losing that life and keeping control indefinitely. The card enables high-risk multiplayer or politics-driven plays and can be used to steal creatures by outbidding opponents with life as currency.
