It enters choosing an opponent, can accumulate vortex counters during your upkeep with {X}, and at the chosen player’s upkeep it deals 3 damage to that player unless they pay {1} per vortex counter. The card’s upkeep trigger removes all vortex counters from it and it is primarily used to pressure a chosen opponent over multiple turns.
