It can be cast only during the declare blockers step to make a target unblocked attacking creature become blocked and grants you a card draw at the beginning of the next upkeep. The effect can interact with creatures that normally can’t be blocked and can be used defensively to alter combat outcomes or buy a turn for other responses.
