Consuming Ferocity (MIR 166) is an Enchantment — Aura from Mirage that enchants a non‑Wall creature. It gives the enchanted creature +1/+0 and on each of your upkeeps places a +1/+0 counter on it, and if the creature ever has three or more +1/+0 counters it deals damage equal to its power to its controller then is destroyed and can’t be regenerated. The card functions as a risk-reward boost engine that can grow a creature for offense but also creates a built-in self-destruct trigger useful for sacrifice synergies or denying an opponent value from stolen creatures.
