Crooked Scales (MMQ 291) is a rare artifact from Mercadian Masques. It has an activated ability for {4} and tapping to flip a coin that can destroy an opponent's creature on a won flip or threaten one of your creatures on a lost flip unless you pay {3} to repeat the process. The repeat payment mechanic lets you keep trying to win the flip while pressures both players' resources and requires choosing both targets when you activate it.
