Pox (ME1-82) is a black sorcery from Masters Edition that forces each player to lose a third of their life, discard a third of their hand, sacrifice a third of their creatures, and sacrifice a third of their lands, rounding up each time. The effect is applied in stages with the active player making choices first for each stage, then others in turn order, and all actions in a stage happen simultaneously. This card serves as a disruptive, symmetrical resource-attrition tool that can punish opponents with many permanents or hands while also affecting the caster.
