Lake of the Dead (ME1-177) is a Rare land from Masters Edition that requires sacrificing a Swamp in order to enter the battlefield. It taps for one black mana and can be tapped and used with sacrificing a Swamp to produce four black mana. The card rewards Swamp-heavy decks by converting an existing Swamp into a potent one-time mana burst for big plays.
