Scavenging Ghoul (ME4-95) is a creature — Zombie reprinted in Masters Edition IV. At each end step it gets corpse counters equal to creatures that died that turn and you can remove a corpse counter to regenerate it. Its role is a resilient midrange body that grows (and can survive lethal damage once per counter) in decks that expect creature deaths.
