Sacred Boon (ME2-33) is a white instant from Masters Edition II that prevents damage and later grants +0/+1 counters. It prevents the next three damage that would be dealt to a target creature this turn and then at the beginning of the next end step puts a +0/+1 counter on that creature for each point of damage prevented. This card functions as both short-term protection and a way to convert prevented damage into permanent toughness on a creature.
