Flash (A25-57) is a blue Instant from Masters 25 that can put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield. When you do, you must either pay that creature's mana cost reduced by 2 generic mana or sacrifice it immediately, and the creature still triggers enter-the-battlefield effects. The effect only reduces generic mana in the creature's cost and treats X as zero for that reduction, so colored requirements must still be paid to keep the creature.
