Invasion of Karsus // Refraction Elemental (MOM-146) is a rare double-faced card from March of the Machine that begins as a red Siege Battle and transforms into a 4/4 Elemental. The Siege enters dealing 3 damage to each creature and each planeswalker and is attacked by all players except its chosen protector, then is exiled and cast transformed when its last defense counter is removed. The back face is a 4/4 creature with Ward—Pay 2 life and a triggered ability that deals 2 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a spell, giving it a burn-oriented role after it transforms.
