Ethersworn Canonist (TD0-B3) is an artifact creature Human Cleric reprint from the Magic Online Theme Decks set. It restricts players so that once they have cast a nonartifact spell in a turn they cannot cast additional nonartifact spells that turn. Its effect is commonly used to slow down combo or storm strategies and to shape tempo by allowing only one nonartifact spell per player each turn.
