It can be cast either as its normal 10-mana 8/8 or as a prototyped 3/3 for {2}{G}{G}, and when it enters if you cast it it untaps a land you control and turns that land into a Treefolk creature with haste and base power/toughness equal to the Automaton's power and toughness. Its prototype casting changes the spell's mana cost, color, and power/toughness while keeping its abilities and types, which affects how the entering trigger and copies interact.
