It enters the battlefield tapped and can pay {1} and tap to search for a basic land and put that land onto the battlefield tapped, then returns to its owner’s hand during the next cleanup step. The card’s effect bypasses the one-per-turn land drop rule because the land is put onto the battlefield by an effect rather than being played.
