Machine God’s Effigy (PRM 105846) is an artifact from the Magic Online Promos set that may enter the battlefield as a copy of any creature on the battlefield with specific exceptions. When it enters as a copy it remains an artifact (not a creature) and gains the printed “{T}: Add {U}” ability in addition to copying applicable printed abilities of the chosen creature. Because it copies printed characteristics except for becoming a creature and ignores attached Auras/counters, it can be used to replicate enter-the-battlefield triggers or utility printed abilities while providing a reliable blue mana source.
