It has a Demonstrate clause allowing you to copy the spell and force an opponent to copy it as well, and it destroys a target nonland permanent while its controller makes two Treasure tokens. Its combination of removal plus Treasure generation gives it utility in white midrange and control decks as both spot answer and resource acceleration.
