Duress (M13-90) is a common black sorcery from the Magic 2013 core set that targets an opponent and forces them to reveal their hand. You choose a noncreature, nonland card from that hand and the opponent discards it, giving you targeted disruption against nonpermanent threats. This card is typically used to remove key instants, sorceries, planeswalkers, or other noncreature answers from an opponent’s options early in the game.
